A post graduate in Home Science from the prestigious Lady Irwin College, Delhi University, Ms. Radhika Maken is the force behind the Blooming Tree. Specializing in Nutrition and Child Development, she always envisioned to build a centre of education, where children can be guided and helped to reach their true potential. As a mother herself, she understands the importance of promising tender loving care to children who, for the first time will be stepping out from their mother’s lap to a completely new world. As a Chairperson, she keeps looking further for innovative and creative ideas that can help make Blooming Tree a truly special place for children. At Blooming Tree, she has endeavoured to provide an enriching environment that is filled with warmth and love for the children and helps them explore, experiment, play and self- discover. She also hopes to lay a strong foundation during the early years so that the children can become lifelong learners, responsible and purposeful individuals with strong human values. Furthermore, she has also been actively involved with numerous NGO’s working with underprivileged children as well as children with special needs.

Dr. Anju Khanna
A renowned educationist with over 26 years of experience, Dr. Anju Khanna is known for staff training both for the self as well as skill sets under the Montessori paradigm for children from different strata of society. She is a lead facilitator with Mirambika Research Centre (Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi) for a course on early child care and education. She is a firm believer of Shri Aurobindo and the Mother’s philosophy of Education as empowerment – for the psychic, vital and mental growth of the child and therein of a community. She has extensively worked on additions / deletions on Montessori, Thematic and Experiential form of learning in terms of content, methodology and tool making. She has conducted several training programs and provides consultancy services to the Primary Wings of Senior Schools of Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Chennai, Vadodra & Patna for curriculum and empowerment of staff related to the ‘inside-outside’ phenomena of education in terms of milestone variations. Dr. Anju Khanna is one of the most invaluable members of the core team of Blooming Tree and has been instrumental in conducting Parents and Teachers workshop. She has also given her important feedback regarding the school’s curriculum and Montessori planning.

Teachers are the pillars of any educational institute. At Blooming Tree we ensure that our teachers are not only NTT, ECCE qualified and Montessori trained , but posses important personality traits like patience, compassion and discipline as well. Regular workshops and seminars are held by ECCE experts to help the facilitators understand the various developmental milestones in the preschoolers’ learning process. The teachers are regularly apprised with the latest developments in Early Childhood Care and Education. Moreover, frequent training sessions are held to keep the facilitators abreast with the latest learning methodologies.
The Teachers are specially sensitized to empathize with the needs of the young students in the age group of 2-4 years so that the focus is not just on academic skills but on important life skills as well.
