Meals & Nutrition
For the overall healthy development of the child ,nutrition plays a very important role. Our team of professional nutritionists and dieticians carefully create a weekly meal plan for children keeping in mind the dietary needs of a preschooler. While we offer only vegetarian meals, a variety of regional Indian cuisine are served to the children. This helps them get exposed to different tastes. The meals are prepared in the school pantry maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation .The food is inspected for taste and quality before being served to the students.
The Meal time also provides an excellent opportunity to help children learn table manners and etiquettes. Moreover, three RO plants have been installed in the campus to provide safe drinking water to students’.
At the time of admission, parents are expected to inform the school in case the child is suffering from any food allergy, so that alternate arrangements can be made. Regular exhibitions of healthy and junk food are held to help the child develop healthy eating habits and also provide the child a first hand experience of what is good and bad for his body.
During celebration of “ India Week “, the students are exposed to popular regional foods to help them understand where the food comes from and also savour different regional tastes and flavours.
Flameless cookery program is an important means for the students to be actively involved in age appropriate, theme related food preparation activities in a child friendly manner.
Pick & Drop Facility
We are providing pick and drop facility in a radius of 5 kms. Only government approved vehicles ferry the children. These vehicles are equipped with fire extinguishers, GPRS, first-aid box and speed governors/controllers. All drivers are verified with the Delhi Police and Transport Department. In addition, a female attendant accompanies the children at all times during transportation.
Child Wellness
The school is committed towards students’ well-being and good health. Regular medical and dental check-ups of our students are conducted by eminent physicians and dentists. On the basis of these check-ups, a medical health card is prepared which includes height, weight information and results of periodic eye, ear and dental checkups and shared with the parents. In addition, the parents are also asked to fill a form related to health details of the child like any medical history or chronic allergy, etc. so that in case of any emergency due caution is taken and proper first aid is administered.
We also have a fully-equipped medical room along with a doctor-on-call facility to handle any kind of emergencies. In case of any bruises, injury and mild falls, first aid is given to the student in school, and if needed, the student is taken to the doctor and parents are duly informed. First aid kits are also provided on all school transport and for groups going out on trips.
